    Section 2.2 covers word problems that involve percents and descriptions of numerical relationships.  Section 2.3 shows you how to solve for one variable if there are several in the equation.  It also introduces the Pythagorean Theorem.  Section 2.4 discusses word problems that involves mixtures and the equation "distance = rate x time".  In 2.5, you find out how to solve and graph linear inequalities in one variable on the number line.  Section 2.6 shows you what to do if you have two or more inequalities connected with "and" or "or".
